EGERTON PRIMARY SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY

What we do:

The Governing Body works in partnership with the headteacher and staff to provide the best possible education for our children. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children.

We

  • help the school to set its strategic direction
  • challenge and support the school as 'critical friends'

·        hold the school to account and provide an account of our own work to interested parties

We meet as a full governing body once a term, and also as committees covering Leadership & Management, Teaching & Learning, Children & the Community and Environment.

Governors annually complete a statement declaring any percuniary interests. this is reviewed throughout the year at every committee meeting and every Full Governing Body Meeting.
